"If a man aspires towards a righteous life, his first act of abstinence is from injury to animals." Albert Einstein

The poaching of Rhino for their horns has reached unprecedented levels in South Africa. South African Rhinos are being viciously targeted by international criminal Rhino poaching syndicates.

These criminal syndicates are being fueled by the demand for Rhino horn which is said to cure diseases most notably cancer, although there is no scientific evidence to prove this. Rhino horn is also bought as a status symbol in Vietnam where the market is presently most active. The South Africa Rhino population will be near extinction by 2026 if no effective measures are taken very soon.

If Rhinos disappear from Africa, the savannas will in all likelihood become distinctly different places in addition to vastly emptier ones.
